The question is: Do you want a person who will just write your workouts? Or do you want a coach? “To be a great coach is to know more than crunching numbers and analyzing data. To be a great coach is to know your athlete. When you know your athlete because you have built a relationship with them, you know their fears, and the stumbling blocks that they put in front of them and their potential performance. To be a great coach is to know how to listen, look into that athletes eyes and know how to pull out the best in them. That’s only possible when you have a relationship with your athlete. I’m grateful to call Jason not only my coach but a friend. Because of that he pulls out the best in me.” Coach Soria is hands down the best “all-around” triathlon coach in North TX. I have been training and racing under Jason for the past eight years now and he has continued to elevate my athletic ability year in and year out. Jason is genuinely thrilled for me when I reach a goal – any goal. He is a Dad so he gets the family thing is THE priority. However, he is a very successful competitive athlete and wants you to compete at the top of your ability. In addition to the extremely detailed schedule I am afforded the opportunity to train with coach Soria 5+ times a week. He is the designated masters swim coach, hosts group runs weekly, as well as weekly group rides. I have completed four Ironman’s a handful of half ironman’s and a countless number of shorter races. By having a tailored program specifically designed with my goals in mid, achieving personal records and completing lifelong goals have become a reality. As I always say, no one succeeds alone.
